随著教育部宣布所有学生继续居家学习直至10月3日，教育部在周三（9月1日）的会议上也针对此事展开商讨，并会在本月中旬或提前公布复课的详情，包括是否决定让国家复苏计划（PPN）第二阶段的考试班学生率先返校上课，或维持居家学习的安排。
