As we marked the final day of Syawal, we had the opportunity to organise a potluck together, and it was truly a joyful one. It was a lovely way to close the festive season with warmth, connection, and plenty of good food.

🎓 Did you know?

In recent years, the 𝐒𝐏𝐌 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 has included students' 𝐂𝐄𝐅𝐑 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥, but many parents and even the students are still unsure what this means!

🔹 CEFR stands for the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
🔹 It's an international standard used to describe English language ability, from beginner (A1) to proficient (C2).
🔹 In SPM, alongside the usual English subject grade (like A+, A, etc.), students also receive a CEFR level — such as B1, B2 or C1 — to show their actual English proficiency.

✅ 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭?
The CEFR level gives a clearer picture of your child's real-world English skills — useful for university admissions, scholarships, and even future job opportunities!
