💕Hello November. 💕

In a blink of an eye... How time flies. And it's a month away from Christmas. My favourite month and celebration. 🤩🤩

I have been very quiet from my socmed for a bigger part of the year. And now I am ready restart.

Restart, recharge, refocus.

Yup...i have been out of focus or rather... Shifted my focus to my day job as a teacher. Took the time off as I felt overwhelmed with so many stuff.

But as the saying goes, it is never tok late to shift your focus and restart even tho it is late in the year😄

So let's get reacquainted. I am Martina, known as Coach Martina for my weoghtloss client and Teacher Martina to my students. So yup, I am a teacher and I am also a weightloss and wellness coach.

I am a mom and my girl is 12 this year. After having my girl 12 years back, I couldn't shake off the extra weight until i found my coach and mentor, who helped me shed off 10kg. That was 8 years ago.

And being human, i kept it off for 7 years and I gained back half of the 10kg and now I am on my personal journey of shedding off the extra 5-6 kg again before the year ends.

So really, it's okay to slack but whaf is most important is get back in track, refocus on your health and put that as a priority and get back to work on it👋

So if you have the same story like me, and want to shed off the extra weight, lets be my accohntability partner and let me help you acieve you weight goals before the new year is here.

New week....new energy...new focus.

Happy Monday everyone.
Food for thought today...if we don't make time for our health, we will someday be forced to do so...and during that time...maybe it will be too late already.

So why not begin with small step one day at a time..so we don't feel overwhelm with sudden changes.

Start by making healthy choice for breakfast for example because that's the first meal of the day. Our stomach is on empty after all the food from the night before absorbed. So begin fresh and healthy.

Cheers to the week ahead. Let's start to make a difference.

WELCOMING SEPTEMBER 💃

Hi if you have just recently following my page, welcome and thank you for your support. And if you have been following me all these while, much love and appreciation going your way. 🥰

I hope that I am sharing values that you can apply in your daily life to improve not just your weight but also your health overall.

A little bit about me - I am 47 years old this year and 7 years ago, at the end of my 39th year, I as actually overweight by 10kg and my energy level was super low. People always congratulate me for being PREGNANT, tho I was not, because of my big tummy😅.

I decided to change after an incident that I fell asleep at the traffic light while driving home from work.

Fast forward, I lost 10kg with the help of my coach program, improve my energy level and fitness and also my health. That was when I decided to help ladies like me, who are busy with work and have no time to care for their health and weight to lose weight and gain their body confidence.

So if you have a big tummy and dream of reducing that, just comment ME and I will DM you.

So McD dah tak Jual hash brown...jom Kita buat hash brown versi healthy and sedap.

Soft on the inside crispy on the outside. Not quite as good as McDonalds but a little healthier.

1 lb Russet potato
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp onion powder
Heaping 1/2 tsp salt
Fresh cracked pepper
2 tsp arrowroot starch

Grate potatoes using a box grater. Soak in cold water for about 25 minutes. Strain and press out excess water, blot dry with paper towel. Heat oil in a pan a little below medium. Cook potatoes, stirring frequently to avoid browning for about 15-20 minutes until potatoes are soft. If you notice them browning easily, reduce the heat slightly. Transfer to a plate or bowl, let cool, then add starch, onion powder, salt and pepper and mix gently with hands until incorporated. Form into about 3 patties on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and freeze for about an hour. Lightly spray bottom of air fryer with oil, place frozen patties, then lightly spray oil on top. Air fry at 400F for 17-20 minutes, flipping halfway (keep an eye on them, air fryer temps can vary). Sprinkle with salt while hot. I like to dip mine in BBQ sauce, enjoy!

EXPLANATION:
1. POPCORN is rich in fiber, vitamin B and high in antioxidant. Ensure that you do not add flavouring, sugar or salt or even butter.

2. HONEY is a good source of sweetener which is rich in vitamin and mineral as well as antioxidant. Stick to the correct serving when consuming this.

3. PEANUT BUTTER is source of good fat. Buy the type which is just pure peanut paste and no added sugar and salt.

4. DARK CHOCOLATE has flavonoid which actually helps in lowering the risk of heart diseases. Be mindful of the high calories though.

5. EGG is rich in vitamins and amino acid which cannot be found in other protein sources.

6. COFFEE is low calori but of course consume without sugar and creamer.

7. POTATO contain good source of carbohydrates. Avoid deep frying it or flooding it with cheese or mayonnaise.

8. MILK is an excellent protein source with Vitamin A and D.
