Harmony Road is a US based group class music course, whom Jan Keyser-the Harmony Road founder. Harmony Road Music Course (HRMC) is a comprehensive musicianship program using solfege singing, movement, and piano/keyboard to teach musical concepts and audiation (inner hearing). The first book in the series, The Music in Me, was introduced in 1981. Course founder, Jan Keyser, recognized the need for an introduction to musical concepts which would involve the whole child through active participation in movement, singing, rhythms, keyboard and creative activities. All Harmony Road materials evolved from thorough testing in classroom settings. The founder of Harmony Road Music Courses, Ms Jan Keyser is a composer, writer, artist and early childhood educator. She developed the first course in 1981 and has continued to provide high quality, research based curriculums to fill the needs of young students and their families. Toddler Tunes

Hello Music + The Music In Me
(age 3 to 4 years)
~ The Music In Me is a dynamic readiness program for young children with emphasis on ear training, solfege singing, movement, keyboard activities, pitch and rhythm awareness. Parents are involved in class and at home. (45 minutes per week)
Harmony Road + Music Time
(ages 4 1/2 to 6 years)
The Harmony Road course is carefully constructed for children to learn the basic building blocks of music. Emphasis areas are ear training, solfege singing, solo and ensemble keyboard playing, rhythm activities, movement, and music creativity. This exceptional course gives the student "inner hearing", which makes skills such as transposing, improvisation and composing easily accessible in their musical studies. (45 minutes per week)
The Young Musician
(age 6 to 7 years)
The Young Musician course is an exciting program which introduces beginning students to keyboard and piano skills, ear training, solfege singing, pitch development, and rhythmic activities. Parents share in class time, and are guided in follow-up activities. (55 minutes per week)
Keyboard Prep
(ages 8 to 11 years)
The Keyboard Prep course is designed for children who are studying music for the first time. This motivating program develops the student's basic musicianship skills through ear training, solfege singing, keyboard solo and ensemble performance, and writing music. Parent involvement is encouraged. (55 minutes per week)
