"What started as a small initiative in the Dietetics Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), is now growing into a wider sustainability ecosystem focused on planetary health, circular economy, and regenerative practices.

Through Project SEDAR (Sustainable Ecosystems & Dietetics Action for Regeneration), students actively participate in food waste separation, composting, planting, harvesting, and food regeneration activities as part of a real-world Planetary Health Living Laboratory.

This initiative transforms food waste into valuable resources while cultivating sustainability awareness, experiential learning, and environmental responsibility among students and the wider campus community.

We started small, but we aim bigger and impact wider.
