✅ CAFEi 2025 Post-Event Review: Reflect, Learn, Grow ✅

The journey doesn’t end when the event concludes—it evolves.

On 9 October 2025, the CAFEi 2025 team gathered at Hotel DoubleTree Putrajaya Lakeside for our official Post-Event Review Workshop. A meaningful session of reflection, gratitude, and forward-looking strategy.

🙏 We opened the day with prayers and an inspiring opening speech by the Chairperson of CAFEi 2025.
🧠 We were honored to learn from Puan Norizai Mohamad Noor (Chief Administration Officer, Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, UPM) and Eventmastery Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd, who shared invaluable insights on event excellence and institutional collaboration.

👥 In the afternoon, all secretariats presented their reports to highlight successes, challenges, and actionable recommendations for future editions. The session was moderated by our own Dean, Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Zainal Abidin Abd. Kadir. The discussions were honest, constructive, and deeply collaborative. .

A heartfelt thank you to every committee member, advisor, partner, and supporter who poured their energy into making CAFEi 2025 a milestone. This postmortem wasn’t just about looking back, it was about building a stronger, smarter, and more united future for CAFEi.

🌧️✨ Final Day of CAFEi2025: A Memorable Excursion to Langkawi’s Heart! ✨🌧️

As the final chapter of CAFEi2025 unfolds, we wrapped up the conference not in a hall, but in the heart of Langkawi’s natural beauty! 🌿

Despite the rainy weather, our spirits stayed high as delegates embarked on a meaningful excursion filled with culture, nature, and hands-on experiences.

Today we explored:
📍 Geoforest Discovery Centre (GDC)– Deepening our understanding of Langkawi’s UNESCO Global Geopark
🚤 Kilim Geoforest Park Boat Tour – Spotting wildlife like eagles, monkeys and bats, all within the stunning mangrove ecosystem
🏛️ Langkawi Craft Complex – Celebrating local traditional craft and island culture
🎨 Batik Painting Workshop – Getting creative and taking home a unique souvenir of our journey

Though the skies were grey, the warmth of camaraderie, discovery, and shared purpose shone brightly. This excursion wasn’t just a tour, it was a perfect ending to a conference that connected science, sustainability, and society.

From 8:00 AM, delegates gathered for registration before diving into parallel oral presentation sessions across Rooms Adya 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6.

We were honored to hear from Prof. Dr. William Chen Wei Ning from Nanyang Technological University, who delivered a fascinating talk on:

Held at the Main Hall and chaired by Prof. Ir. Dr. Siti Mazlina Mustapha Kamal, the session sparked great discussions on the future of food tech and sustainability.

🌟 Day 1 of CAFEi2025 Kicks Off in Full Swing at Adya Hotel, Langkawi! 🌟

The International Conference of Agricultural and Food Engineering 2025 (CAFEi2025) officially commenced today with energy, elegance, and enthusiasm as delegates, distinguished guests, and industry leaders gathered at the beautiful Adya Hotel in Kuah, Langkawi.

📅 26 August 2025 (Tuesday)

Our day began bright and early with a smooth registration process starting at 8:30 AM, followed by a warm welcome for our guests and VIPs. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as we prepared to launch this prestigious event.

At 8:45 AM, the official programme commenced in the Main Hall with:

We were also honored to witness two significant milestones:

Following a refreshing exhibition booth visit by the Vice-Chancellor at 9:30 AM, the conference moved into its first keynote session at 10:00 AM, where YBhg. Dato' Professor Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah delivered a powerful address on:
