XMU Tandem Program ​
厦门大学劼颃计划之厦门站​

For those who don't know, we had a visit from our main campus in China. During this summer break, they started off this Tandem Program with the aims of visiting elite universities all around the world. ​
XMUM was honoured to be their second stop for the program, and we students had the opportunities to mingle with new friends from the main campus. ​
After our afternoon sharing session about XMUM, XMU students prepared a series of performances curated for our Malaysian campus. ​

It was a great cultural experience, with big thanks to our students helpers who came forward (read our emails so its u next time), we hope everyone had a wonderful time. We had the representatives of their student council who joined as well, sharing our thoughts for improving our student life, we humbly accept all the good advices given from the seniors. ​

We really look forward for our chance to visit the main campus, hope that day comes soon. ​

Great friends, great memories.​

Thanks to all the committees for pouring your blood, sweat and tears into our revelatio orientation, we had more than 700 foundation students joining us this semester! XMUM be reaching new numbers every single year, wishing all the freshies good luck and good grades for your stay in XMUM. ​

Also, the KCC New Century Title Development Program 2023 (Hong Kong business case competition) held their finals in our campus, delighted to say that one of our students, Tan Zhi Han, the president of the business club and his group won 1st runner up!! Congratulations to them!​

💜Tsing Hua Delegation Visit​
清华大学精仪系赴马来西亚实践队 “仪马当先”​ 🔭🔬

Xiamen University Malaysia welcomed another batch of visitors from the top 1 university in China, Tsing Hua. This visit from the Department of Precision Instrument, Tsing Hua, had the main purpose of exploring the Chinese culture in Malaysia, as Malaysia appears to be the country that splendidly conserves the Chinese heritage.​

We had a 1 hour conversation between students from both universities, exchanging opinions with cultural discussions, it was a chill and meaningful acknowledgement for all students.

[Installation ceremony]
We express our gratitude to all the attendees who gathered to witness the inauguration ceremony of the 5th Student Council's Board of Directors (BOD).

Among the esteemed guests present were Associate Prof. Zhang Ying, Vice President of XMUM, and Mr. Heng Hua Teck, Assistant President of Xiamen University Malaysia. Additionally, we were honored to have Mr. Potter, the Head of ECA & Staff Advisor, as well as our staff representatives: Ms. Jennifer, Mr. Ku, Ms. Ming Luan, Ms. Eunice, and Ms. Denise. We were delighted to be joined by our cherished friends who added to the enchantment of this memorable evening.

We pledge to dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to our responsibilities and strive to uphold the highest standards of leadership.
