Some SFS students had a pre-celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year with their lecturers. It is great to know that our international students especially enjoyed this introduction to the various cultural practices related to the spring festival.

Close to 90 SMK students from around Kuala Lumpur visited the XMUM campus today.

SFS senior lecturer Dr Low Bee Imm conducted a talk on Stress Management and played a lively vocabulary game with these youngsters.

80 students from SMK St David visited our campus yesterday and attended an interactive workshop on "how to effectively input information into our consciousness" by SFS Senior Lecturer Mr Subramaniam.

We hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend with us!

The School of Foundation Studies held their annual staff gathering on the 29th of November to commemorate the completion of a fulfilling academic year.

At the event, five of our colleagues received the Outstanding Teaching Awards and one received the Outstanding Research Award from SFS Director Dr Tan Fui Ching.

Students from SMK Tmn Megah Ria, JB dropped by XMUM last Friday and SFS senior lecturer Mr Subramaniam conducted a talk titled "How to input information into our consciousness" for these young minds. We hope you had a fruitful visit indeed.

FIS semester 3 Biology II students went on a field trip to today for an experiential learning day on sustainable farming today. The excited students were accompanied by FIS HoD Dr Chew, Senior Lecturer Ms Koh as well as Lab Techs Ms Nanthini and Ms Faizatul.

We hope it has been an enjoyable and fruitful learning day for all!
