Feeling so thankful today 🌸🎶
It’s been almost 9 years since my student first picked up the ukulele and later the guitar with me. Watching their growth — from the very first chords to confidently playing full songs — has been such a joy and an honour. 作為一位鋼琴老師,學生的性格、動機來源、心理承受力,都應成為我們安排學琴路徑的考慮因素。比賽不是唯一,也不是必須。我觀察到不同學生在比賽中的表現和性格心理特質有密切關係。

🎹 哪類小朋友適合參加比賽?

1. 表現型性格(Performers)
- 喜歡被注目,有舞台感,享受掌聲。
- 通常在比賽或表演中表現更好,甚至比練習時更出色。
- 比賽對他們來說是動力來源,能激發潛能。

2. 成就導向型(Achievement-Oriented)
- 有強烈的目標感,喜歡挑戰和進步。
- 比賽為他們提供清晰的目標和評價標準。
- 他們會從成績中獲得滿足感和自我肯定。

3. 高自我效能感(High Self-Efficacy)
- 對自己有信心,認為努力能帶來成果。
- 即使面對壓力也不容易退縮。
- 比賽是他們測試自己實力的好機會。

😟 哪類小朋友不適合參加比賽?

1. 焦慮型(Anxious Type)
- 容易緊張、怕犯錯,面對比賽壓力會表現失常。
- 比賽可能會造成反效果,打擊自信,甚至影響學琴興趣。

2. 內向與完美主義型(Introverted Perfectionists)
- 害怕被評價,對自己要求過高。
- 容易因小錯而自責,比賽壓力會增加心理負擔。

3. 內在動機型(Intrinsic Learners)
- 更重視學習過程、個人興趣與表達。
- 比賽的結果導向可能反而使他們失去對音樂的熱愛。

🎯 比賽是否唯一的學習動力?

並不是。事實上,教育心理學指出:

📌 「動機」分為兩種:
- 外在動機(Extrinsic Motivation):如比賽、獎項、家長讚賞。
- 內在動機(Intrinsic Motivation):源於對音樂的興趣、成就感、情感表達。

比賽只是外在動機的一種,長遠而言,內在動機才是持續學習的關鍵。我們應該幫助學生從練習、演奏中找到樂趣與價值。

🧠 教育心理學的相關理論與性格特質

1. Big Five 人格特質(五大性格理論)
- 外向性(Extraversion):高者較適合參加比賽。
- 神經質(Neuroticism):高者較容易焦慮,需謹慎安排比賽。
- 開放性(Openness):高者重視創意與表達,可能更享受表演而非競爭。
- 盡責性(Conscientiousness):高者練習有恆心,有能力為比賽作準備。
- 宜人性(Agreeableness):與比賽無直接關係,但影響合作與情緒管理。

2. 成就動機理論(Achievement Motivation Theory)
- 學生被兩種動機驅動:追求成功vs 避免失敗。
- 比賽對「追求成功型」是動力,對「避免失敗型」則可能形成壓力。

🌱 如何平衡比賽與音樂教育?

1. 以學生性格為出發點:不是人人都要參加比賽。
2. 提供多元表演機會:如音樂會、家庭演奏、錄影分享等,讓學生在無壓環境中表現自己。
3. 強調進步而非結果:幫助學生從比賽中看到成長,而不只是名次。
