Reflecting on an Inspiring Day at the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻t, University of Nottingham Malaysia last Saturday, 12 July 2025.

What an incredible event at 𝗨𝗡𝗠—packed with insightful discussions on AI, leadership, sustainability, and change management! Grateful to have heard from an exceptional lineup of speakers, including the distinguished 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗕𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗱, 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶a and Francis Koh, PMP, MBA, CCSP, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗠𝗜𝗠𝗬.

Dr. New and Dr. Jaya recently led an exciting school outreach session to introduce the wonders of nanoscience using a hands-on educational toolkit – NanoKit!

Through simple experiments and interactive activities, students learned how to prepare fluorogenic nanomaterials and use them to detect copper ions — making nanoscience fun and accessible!

We’re excited to announce an opportunity for you to leave a lasting mark on the university! We’re hosting a Logo Design Competition for our upcoming Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Mentoring Programme, and we want to feature your creativity.

What’s the P2P Mentoring Programme About?

The P2P Mentoring Programme creates a platform for students to seek out academic mentoring from their peers. This is a university-wide initiative by students for students.

Why Enter the Competition?

Showcase Your Talent: Your design could become the face of a programme that makes a real difference.
Win Cash Prize: The winning design gets a cash prize of RM300!
Boost Your Portfolio: Gain valuable exposure and add a professional project to your portfolio.

Submission Guidelines:

Theme: The logo should reflect the university’s colours and the tagline of the programme—“a university-wide initiative by students for students.”. Beyond this, let your creativity take flight!
Format: Submit your design as a high-quality digital file in the format of .ai and .png
