UNMC Chem E Car Competition

UNM Chem-E-Car is a platform to train interested students to learn practical skills on building a 'chemical-powered' car.

The ultimate aim is to have one or two UNM Chem-E-Car teams to participate in the annual National Chem-E-Car competition. This is an internal competition organised by Department of Chemical Engineering. Student's mission is to create a shoe-box-sized car that is powered by a chemical energy source and must be able to carry a certain load of water and stop the closest to a specified distance. The top 2 winning teams will be selected to represent UNMC for the national competition.
