Have you ever wanted to take a look inside our chemical research laboratories? Our researchers and postgraduate students collaborated with NACWC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia to produce a video on Chemical Security Awareness. Here are some behind the scenes look at our team working in our labs!
Our lecturers, postgraduate research students and technical staff were involved in making a video to promote awareness about Chemical Security for the NACWC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our Dean too spoke about the collaboration on the awareness programme.
Here are some photos taken behind the scenes.

Dr Kasturi Muthoosamy is an Associate Professor at FOSE, UNM. Her research area includes designing drug delivery platforms using nano-graphene composites for targeted delivery of anti-cancers drugs. She is also focused on biosensing for cancer cell detection using protein-modified
nanoparticles.
Currently she is focused on development of theranostics systems, which combines diagnostics, drug delivery and imaging at cancer sites. She has both local and international collaborators, with lab attachments at top research institutes, namely ICN2, Barcelona, Spain and University of Southampton, UK via prestigious international grants.
She was also selected to represent Malaysia to OPCW, at The Hague, Netherlands, quite a rare opportunity for private university academicians.
She currently heads the Nanotechnology Research Group in UNM. To know more about her work, do visit: https://www.nottingham.edu.my/Engineering/People/kasturi.muthoosamy
