The Cambridge English syllabus that we are using doesn't only teach our students conventional English skills (i.e. listening, reading, speaking and writing). They get to learn specific terms hands-on so that they are equipped for other subjects as well. It is especially helpful for writing an essay or giving a presentation.💯🤩

SANDAKAN - Stars Tuition Centre has just recently published their Cambridge English Assessments results for 2022. A total of 30 students from various levels participated in the assessment for this year, with 16 of them obtaining the maximum high-score of 15 Shields in the Young Learners English (YLE) category of Starters (Pre-A1), Movers (A1) and Flyers (A2) which is linked to the CEFR standards. For the secondary school category, 3 of the students obtained Grade A in their Key for Schools KET (A2) and Preliminary for Schools PET (B1).

The Cambridge English Assessments are the world’s premier English Language proficiency test and being linked to the CEFR standards means that it is recognised worldwide whether you are looking to further studies or migration into an English-speaking country. Students are assessed through a series of activities which include all the core skills of Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking.

Students who do well in their Cambridge English Assessments stand a better chance at being competent users of English whether locally or internationally. Stars Tuition Centre provides an environment where English is learnt naturally in the activities that the students do in their weekly classes where they will be encouraged to speak and form opinions about real-life topics.
