Both will now go on to represent Sandakan at MSS Sabah in Lahad Datu in two weeks’ time. 💪🎯

🦧 Orangutan, here we go!

Last Saturday, students discovered amazing facts about orangutans like how they build a brand new nest high up in the trees almost every single day!

More importantly, students are learning to become Earth heroes 🌏💚 by understanding their natural habitats and why they are now endangered.

Starting small, they are learning simple ways to care for the environment and protect the wildlife because we exist to impact!🍃

🦧 红毛猩猩，我们来了！

上个星期六，学生们发现了许多关于红毛猩猩的惊人知识，例如它们几乎每天都会在高高的树上搭建一个全新的巢穴！

更重要的是，学生们通过了解它们的自然栖息地，以及它们为何正面临濒危的处境而学习成为“地球小英雄” 🌏💚

学生们从小事做起，以简单的方法来关爱环境、保护野生动物。因为我们小小举动，可以带来大大影响！ 🍃

🌿🐻 Year 3 Field Trip to Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre 🐻🌿

Now in its 5th year, this visit has become a meaningful tradition for our Year 3 students. Each year, they learn about the smallest bear in the world and the importance of protecting wildlife and their natural habitat. 🌱

Beyond the classroom, students observed the sun bears up close, understood conservation efforts, and developed a deeper appreciation for nature.

As part of this learning journey, students also gave back by selling their drawings to support conservation work and symbolically adopt a sun bear, a beautiful reflection of learning in action. 🎨❤️

This programme supports:
• SDG 4 – Quality Education (learning beyond the classroom)
• SDG 15 – Life on Land (protecting wildlife and biodiversity)

A meaningful experience where learning connects with real-life action, shaping hearts and minds to make a difference. 🌍✨

Math Year 3: Create a Mini Shop

It’s more than just art and creativity. Our students are learning to apply mathematics in real-life situations! From setting prices to calculating total cost and change, they are building a strong foundation in money concepts through hands-on experience. 💰

At the same time, they develop teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills as they collaborate with their peers.

Learning becomes truly meaningful when students can connect it to everyday life, and that’s what we aim to nurture in every lesson. 🌟

Our students presented their ideas and findings with confidence and clarity to a panel of knowledgeable judges, a remarkable achievement at the international level. This experience has truly been a valuable opportunity for them to learn, grow, and shine beyond the classroom. 🌍💡

♟️✨ MSSD Sandakan Chess Championship 2026 ✨♟️

📍 SMK Agama Tun Juhar, Sandakan
📅 7–8 April 2026

Our school chess team returned to the competition this year with a young and developing squad, with more than half of the players making their debut appearance. 💪🌱

Despite the challenge, our students participated with great enthusiasm and determination, gaining valuable experience, showing good sportsmanship, and rising to compete against strong opponents.

What a powerful and unforgettable conclusion to our Sports Day 2026! 💪🔥

Over the past three days, we witnessed determination, resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship at its finest, from our Primary to Secondary students. It is truly encouraging to see how our students grow through the years, carrying forward the same spirit, values, and strength as they journey from one stage to the next. 🌱✨

From the first race to the final event, everyone gave their best, finishing strong and showing us how far they have come. We continue to watch them grow, not just in performance, but in character and unity.

Another exciting day filled with sprints, relays, and incredible teamwork! The energy was high, the spirit even higher, and we even witnessed record-breaking runs today! 🏅✨

The competition has taken a thrilling turn as Red House surges ahead, now leading in both Primary and Secondary, with Yellow House close behind. All houses continue to push their limits and give their very best! 💪

With everything still to play for, we head into Day 3 with anticipation and excitement…

🏃‍♂️✨ Vision School Annual Sports Day 2026 – Day 1 ✨🏃‍♀️

After days of rain during training, we were thankful to welcome a bright and warm day to kick off our Sports Day 2026. It was truly an eventful day filled with running, jumping, and pulling, as our students gave their best in every event.

This memorable day was made possible through the collective effort of teachers, students, and supportive parents, creating a vibrant and encouraging atmosphere for everyone.

At the end of Day 1, Yellow House is currently in the lead, followed closely by Green, Red, and Blue House.

Tomorrow, the excitement continues as we move to the Sports Complex for more intense competitions with more medals to win and many more moments to celebrate! 🏅
