Our Under-18 squad brought absolute fire to the board at Inanam Mall today, bringing home impressive results across both Novice and Expert categories! ♟️⚡

Girl power was in full force this round! 🥳 Huge congratulations to our girls who swept top placements in the Girl U18 Novice category:

Congratulations to Caden Yeo and Nicholas Yeo for shooting in the prestigious Singapore Archery Open Championships in Bukit Gombak, Singapore.

Caden teamed up with his Coach Otto Wongcowan and brother Xander to obtain Bronze in the Men's Compound Team Elimination amidst a host of esteemed archers from around Asia who took this Singapore Open as their warm-up match before the Asia Games in Aichi-Nagoya.

Nicholas came into his own by sharing the line with national archers from around the region preparing for the Asia Games.

🌊🐢 Learning Today, Protecting Tomorrow | WWF Sustainable Development Education Programme

Today, our students at Vision Secondary School had another meaningful learning experience through the WWF Sustainable Development Education Programme, with a special focus on marine conservation and sea turtles. 🌊🐢

The programme went beyond classroom learning. Through informative sharing, interactive activities, hands-on games and teamwork, the WWF facilitators helped our students understand the importance of protecting marine ecosystems, the challenges faced by sea turtles, and how our everyday choices can make a difference to the environment.

We believe that sustainable development and conservation are not one-time efforts — they require long-term commitment, continuous education and collective action. Developing environmental awareness from a young age is an important step towards nurturing responsible individuals who understand that protecting our planet is a responsibility shared by everyone.

This marks the second year of Vision Secondary School’s commitment to this programme, and we are grateful to continue this meaningful journey with WWF. Each experience gives our students another opportunity to learn, reflect, participate and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them.

On **4 August**, Vision School proudly hosted our **Pertandingan Berpidato dan Bercerita** in conjunction with our Debate Competition! 🏆✨

While we continue to nurture confidence and communication skills through **English**, we never let the importance of **Bahasa Melayu** slide away. 🇲🇾❤️

Through speech and storytelling, our students showcased not only their language proficiency, but also their **confidence, creativity, critical thinking and ability to express ideas with impact**.

And that’s a wrap! 🎬✨

What began with a motion, a team and a few nervous voices turned into passion, confidence, courage and powerful ideas taking centre stage.

Our Intraschool Debate Competition 2026 has come to an end, but the voices raised, lessons learned and memories made will stay with us. From the preliminary rounds to the intense semi-finals and thrilling final, our young debaters demonstrated that debate is not simply about winning an argument — it is about learning to think critically, speak confidently, listen respectfully and stand firmly behind an idea.

To every student who stepped up to the podium, we are proud of you. Whether you emerged as a champion or ended your journey in the earlier rounds, you took a step forward — and that courage itself is a victory. 👏
