Throwback health campaign 2021

Honorary Professor Datin Sri Dato’ Dr KH Wang, the visionary world educator, made a peaceful transition into her heavenly home on February 13, 2022 surrounded by the love of her husband, Dato’ Sri Dr Richard Ong, sons Kevan Ong and Keefe Ong and daughter in law, Claire Yap.

Datin Sri was the Group Executive Director of Smart Reader® Worldwide and co-founder of Smart Reader Kids®. Her passion and dedication in early childhood education will never go unrecognised. She was instrumental in formulating the well-known Smart Reader Creative Teaching Methodology® as well as the birth of the ‘One Child One Hope’ Scholarship programme that provides quality early education to less fortunate children. These brilliant contributions of hers has touched and benefitted thousands of children and educators around the globe.

In her lifetime, Datin Sri had won many awards locally and internationally. She was the only Malaysian woman entrepreneur who had garnered the highest number of awards on a personal level for her zest and tireless effort in championing the early childhood education industry. She leaves behind a legacy that touched the hearts and lives of many.
