With over 15 years in education, my journey has taken me from primary classrooms to college lecture halls—each step shaping my philosophy and deepening my love for teaching. Yet, my heart has always found its way back to where it all feels most meaningful: the Early Years.

As Head of Early Years and Early Years Teacher, I believe in nurturing curiosity, celebrating small discoveries, and creating a joyful foundation for lifelong learning. Because in these early moments, we don’t just teach—we inspire, we guide, and we grow together.

STEAM Week is in full swing at Straits International School, bringing together curiosity, creativity, and collaboration across all year groups.

From hands-on experiments to innovative challenges, students are exploring how Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics connect to the world around them.

Packed with exciting sports, creative activities, hands-on experiences, and special trips, our summer programme is designed to keep children active, engaged, and growing throughout the holidays.
