Meet Mr Nas! 👋

With 8 years of teaching experience, Mr Nas has dedicated his career to helping students grow both inside and outside the classroom. He began as a Character Development Coordinator at Seven Skies International School, where he nurtured character, leadership, and confidence in young learners. He later continued his teaching journey at The Alice Smith School before joining the Straits International School family, where he continues to inspire, support, and grow alongside his students every day.

Outside of school, Mr Nas loves embracing the outdoors and has even spent more than 12 hours hiking in a single day! 🥾⛰️ His other essential? A good cup of coffee—because no day is complete without caffeine. ☕️

We’re proud to have passionate educators like Mr Nas who bring energy, dedication, and a love of learning to our community.

Highlights from the Straits Funkwave Talent Show 2026! 🎤✨

What an electrifying show it was from the spectacular opening act to the unforgettable finale! We were truly honoured to welcome our incredible judges: Moghul Miz Raja Putri Atilia Raja Haron MIMIFLY.
They were genuinely blown away by the standard of talent on display from beautiful vocals and outstanding musicianship to high-energy dance performances and remarkable creativity.

Congratulations to all of our winners, and an even bigger congratulations to every student who had the courage to step onto that stage. You inspired more people than you probably realise.

At Straits, we add value by creating opportunities that go beyond the classroom. Talent Show isn’t just about winning trophies, it’s about building confidence, discovering hidden talents, expressing creativity, and giving every student a stage to shine.
