🍰 Baking Day at Reed International School 🍰
A truly delightful day unfolded at Reed International School as students came together for a fun-filled Baking Day activity!
With great excitement, students gathered to learn the art of making egg tarts. We were honoured to have Ms Annie guide them step by step through the baking process — from preparing the pastry to mixing the smooth, creamy filling. Her guidance made the experience both educational and enjoyable.
The school was soon filled with the warm, sweet aroma of freshly baked egg tarts, creating a joyful and homely atmosphere across campus.
The highlight of the day was definitely the moment students tasted their very own self-baked egg tarts — a proud and satisfying achievement for everyone involved!
The activity also encouraged students to learn how they could independently prepare simple and healthy dishes at home through basic culinary skills such as baking. It was a meaningful hands-on experience that built confidence, teamwork, creativity, and a love for learning beyond the classroom. 🧑🍳✨

Our Year 9 Global Perspectives students are becoming young researchers 🌍✨
In class, they learn how to write well-structured research texts just like a mini literature reviewby analysing and combining information from different sources 📚🧠
Using the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as inspiration, students explored real-world issues and created their own research topics, from climate action to quality education 🌱🎓
This experience builds strong writing, critical thinking, and global awareness preparing them to understand and engage with the world around them 💡🌏
🔥 Heat in Action: Learning Through Experiment! 🔬
Understanding the transfer of thermal energy by conduction becomes much more exciting when students can see it happen right in front of them!
In today’s science lesson, our students carried out a hands-on experiment to explore how heat travels through a metal rod causing the drawing pins to drop. By observing how thermal energy moves from one point to another, they were able to connect theory with real-life application.
