We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Practical Implementation of Outcome-Based Education, Constructive Alignment, and Student Learning Time with Table 4, organised by the Department of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine UiTM.

Workshop Details:
Date: 4th February 2025 (Tuesday)
Time: 8.30 am - 4.00 pm
Venue: Smart Classroom, Level 4, Academic Building, Faculty of Medicine, Sg. Buloh Campus, UiTM
Speaker: Assoc. Prof Dr. Nurul Alimah Abdul Nasir, Head, Department of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, UiTM.

Workshop Objectives:
-Introduce the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and its relevance in medical education.
-Explore the concept of Constructive Alignment to align intended learning outcomes, teaching methods, and assessments.
-Discuss the Student Learning Time (SLT) concept and its application in curriculum design.
-Implement the concept of OBE, constructive alignment and SLT in filling up Table 4.

"🔥 Intervarsity Battle of Skills 2024 (IBOS) : The ultimate medical showdown! 🔥

🔥 UiTM’s Year 5 med students went head-to-head with the best from across Malaysia in a two-day marathon of clinical challenges at IMU, Negeri Sembilan. 🔥

The two-day competition kicked off with an "Explorace," testing both academic and non-academic skills across eight stations. "Battle Day" followed with intense clinical challenges—solving psychiatry crossword puzzles, performing fundoscopy, managing obstetric cases, demonstrating skin grafting and suturing, and executing adult resuscitation.

With expert guidance from clinical lecturers Dr. Norashikin Saidon, Dr. Aimy Abdullah, Dr. Noor Azura Noor Mohamad, Dr. Mayuha Rusli, and Dr. Mohd Fazrul Mokhtar, our team crushed it—advancing to the quarter-finals in their first-ever competition of this scale, their achievement not only reflects their hard work but also sets the stage for even greater success in future battles." 💪👊"

what happen today? are structured initiatives within educational institutions and healthcare training facilities that recruit, train, and utilize standardized patients (SPs) to enhance the training and assessment of healthcare professionals.
Simulation patients, often referred to as standardized patients (SPs), are individuals trained to act out the medical histories, symptoms, and emotional states of real patients. They play a crucial role in medical education by providing students and professionals with realistic clinical scenarios for practice and assessment.
