Ready to step beyond lectures and experience how actuarial knowledge is applied in the real world? 🌍 The Society of Actuarial Science (HWUMSAS) is excited to present the HWUMSAS Case Competition 2026, a national-level competition designed to challenge your analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Participants will work in teams of 4 to 5 members to analyse a real-world actuarial case, develop practical and strategic solutions, and present their ideas to industry professionals. The competition includes a preliminary submission round, followed by a final in-person presentation for shortlisted teams. Industry experts will serve as judges throughout the competition.

📌 Registration: 31 January – 11 February 2026
💸 Participation: FREE
🎓 Open to all university students interested in actuarial science, analytics, risk, or related fields .

Selected teams will advance to the final round to present live to a panel of judges. The top three teams will receive cash prizes:
🥇 1st Place: RM4,000
🥈 2nd Place: RM2,000
🥉 3rd Place: RM1,000
