In our class this week, we are learning about passageways. The Bumblebee children learn through building bridges by engaging in various developmental and educational processes. It looks simple but it takes lots of effort to do this.

When children build a bridge, they need to think about how to make it strong and stable. They plan the structure, considering what materials to use and how to assemble them. As they build, children may encounter challenges, such as their bridge collapsing or not being able to support weight. This leads them to experiment with different solutions, fostering critical thinking. Building bridges introduces children to basic principles of physics and engineering, such as balance, force, and tension. They learn how different shapes and structures can affect the stability of a bridge. Children can design their bridges uniquely, experimenting with different shapes, sizes, and materials. This encourages creative thinking.

All about flowers 💐🌹. They made this while we were traveling the country of the week - Ethiopia! Learning to use glue develops hand-eye coordination and fine motor planning skills. It also helps your child understand the sensory concept of stickiness.
