We’ve all been there—the awkward silence when relatives visit. But at MicFront, we have a golden rule: SPEAK UP. 🎤

Because you have to dare to open your mouth before you can make progress!

As a Coach and a Mom, I don’t just teach this—I live it. I always encourage my own kids to engage with our guests to build that "fearless" social muscle.

Here are 4 simple ways to turn CNY into a confidence-building playground for your little ones:

1️⃣ Eye Contact 👁️: Looking at elders while saying "Thank you" for angpaws.
2️⃣ Give Feedback 🍪: Encouraging them to say, "Auntie, this cookie is so yummy!"
3️⃣ Be the Little Host 🍵: Letting them serve drinks or oranges to guests.
4️⃣ Self-Intro 🙋‍♂️: Practice saying, "I am XX, and I’m X years old."

Soon Yang started with us in October 2025 — unsure, with very little eye contact, often seeking help when he didn’t know how to continue.

Fast forward four months… Soon Yang tells a completely different story.

Today, he feels comfortable on stage. He stands with confidence. His eye contact is intentional. His pauses are controlled. And his hand gestures are purposeful — every movement supporting his message, not distracting from it.

When he’s unsure, he pauses, thinks, refers to his script, and continues with composure.

We are now working on his voice projection, intonation, and clearer pronunciation — refining the final details.

Soon Yang is getting ready for his very first stage performance this April… and we can’t wait to see him own that stage. 🌟

✨ He’s only 7. He started training at 6 — and this speech is 100% his own thoughts.
No scripts to memorize.
No lines to force.

Her dream of becoming a teacher is fueled by her kind heart and joyful spirit, and we couldn't be more proud to support her on this path! 👩‍🏫

But how does a child prepare for such a big dream? It starts with tiny steps in public speaking. 🐾

To be a great teacher, you need to lead, inspire, and communicate clearly. Even at her young age, Dawn Ann is mastering the essentials:

Speaking with Heart: Building the confidence to share her ideas out loud.

The Power of Gestures: Using her hands and body language to connect with her "audience."

Posture & Presence: Standing tall and proud as she speaks.

These "tiny steps" are more than just a class—they are the tools that will help her command a classroom of her own one day!

By finding her voice today, Dawn Ann is already one step closer to making her dream a reality. 🌟

What an incredible Sunday! We are still buzzing from the energy at MicFront Bandar Bukit Puchong 2 yesterday. ⚡️

It was a joy to see so many families join us to kick off the year. While the kids were busy conquering their stage fright in our Live Trial Classes, parents got a deep dive into our mission with MicFront co-founder, Dr. Jolynn.
