We were honored to welcome 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚
for a 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 and pre-competition exchange
with 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐬.

This session was more than vocal coaching—
it was about
𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐫.

Students listened to different voices, styles, and interpretations,
and learned how to
𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 · 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 · 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞—
essential skills often overlooked in performance training.

🎼 𝐀 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬
because true learning happens
not only when we sing,
but when we listen.

With Ms. Susanna’s thoughtful guidance,
and the continued support from schools, parents, and students,
we witnessed
𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬
built through collective effort.

✨ January In-House Workshop | Learning Beyond the Stage

Our first workshop of the year focused on what happens before and beyond the performance.

🎵 Students learned how to watch a performance with intention — listening, observing, and giving constructive feedback, not just saying “good job.”

🩰 As performers, they also explored backstage responsibility — from basic stage makeup and costume preparation to safety, hygiene, and respect in shared spaces.

At TCA, we believe learning the arts means learning how to listen, how to prepare, and how to grow together.
