We have to enrich our children with the basics of Hindu Religion, so that they become a great citizen of this mother earth, following Dharma and bring peace, harmony and love within themselves and the surroundings. It is our duty and Dharma to do that. With that in mind , Kauai Hindu Monastery which is based in Kapaa, Hawaii ,USA under the guidance of present Sannidhanam Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami, have come with Hinduism Book 1 for children.This book is in 4 languages . This book will be launched by Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami himself in Malaysia on 22.6.2024 at PJ Siddhi Vinayakar Temple, 6 pm to 9 pm. After the launch, there will vibuthi prasadam for everyone. INVITATION TO OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF 'FRIDAY RELIGIOUS GATHERING WITH LUNCH' PROGRAMME ON 15TH DECEMBER 2023 AT 12NOON IN SRI SAKTHI KARPAGA VINAYAGAR TEMPLE BRICKFIELDS KUALA LUMPUR BY YB SENATOR PUAN SARASWATHY KANDASAMI

In our religion, Friday is considered an auspicious day. Generally any worship performed on Friday is considered especially sacred. More importantly; our elders have learnt through practice and experience that you will get peace of mind, happiness, be blessed with children, marriage, wisdom etc for worship done on this day.

In Malaysia, a long lunch hour from 12 noon to 2.45 pm every Friday is officially mandated and reserved for Muslims to perform their prayers. We also should use this long lunch time on Fridays wisely, as our worship time.

Realizing this, we around Brickfields, comprising government employees, housewives, self-employed individuals, school children and teachers from nearby schools take the opportunity to gather at the Sri Karpaga Vinayagar Temple located in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur for a religious get-together. It is significant and noteworthy that they use this time to learn about our religion, foster friendship, discuss how to promote our teachings to the next generation and address related social issues.

This is a remarkable program started in the 1980s by the nearby Angkasapuri RTM, Hindu staff at Pantai Muthumariamman Temple Bangsar. Now the program continues successfully at Brickfields Karpaga Vinayagar Temple.

It is our hope and prayer that similiar gatherings will be implemented without delay at temples strategically located near schools and offices. The respective temples should also organise these gatherings with the participation and support of NGOS in the areas. To acheive this, as a first step, we are planning to officially launch our get-together at Sri Sakthi Karpaga Vinayagar Temple Brickfields as said above.

Therefore on behalf of the organising NGO's, MHS, MHDM, PTVM , Artha Dharma and ArthaNyana, we would like to invite you and all your members to grace this event with your presence. We strongly believe that your presence will give a great boost towards the current and future sucess of this program for the benefit our community.
