今天，5岁的孩子们学习了双元音组合 /ai/。他们不再只是认识单个字母，而是开始把声音组合起来，自己拼读出 snail（蜗牛）、rain（下雨）、train（火车） 等单词！🐌🌧️🚂

看到孩子们成功把字母变成有意义的单词，是非常开心的时刻。这也帮助他们建立阅读信心，培养对阅读的兴趣。我们为小小读者感到骄傲！🥰📖

Sound blending is an important step towards independent reading. 🧠✨

Today, our 5-year-olds learned the vowel digraph /ai/. They moved beyond recognizing single letters and started blending sounds together to read words like snail, rain, and train on their own! 🐌🌧️🚂

It was a joyful moment to see them turn letters into real words. This helps build confidence and a strong foundation for a love of reading. We are very proud of our young readers! 🥰📖

A massive thank you to Ms. Raani (Head of School from Beaconhouse Klang), Ms. Priscillia (Head of School from Beaconhouse Sarah's Klang), and Ms. Catherine (Principal of BNEY Ampang) for their wonderful leadership, guidance, and knowledge sharing. It was an amazing day of learning and growing together across our branches!

​我们的 4 天“猎熊之旅”假日营圆满落幕啦！最后两天的活动精彩不断，5岁和6岁组的小探险家们顺利完成了所有荣誉挑战！🏆

​活动亮点：
​小熊面包 ： 动手涂抹果酱，用香蕉和蓝莓拼出超萌的小熊脸蛋！
​创意叉子画 ： 用平平无奇的叉子当画笔，刮画出毛茸茸的小熊！
​泥巴感官： 小手深入黏糊糊的“泥巴”里，进行有趣的触觉探索！

​“猎熊大冒险”体能挑战 🏃‍♂️🌲： 连闯五关！挑战了跳麻袋、跳石头、平衡木、Z字走位，最后成功爬过山洞！

​Our 4-Day Bear Hunt Holiday Programme has officially come to a wonderful close! Our amazing 5 and 6-year-old adventurers successfully conquered all their final missions! 🏆

​Exciting Highlights:
Bear Bread Making : Spreading jam and decorating cute bear faces using banana slices and blueberries!
​Fork Painting Bear : Using forks to paint the perfect fluffy, textured fur for their bears.
​Sensory Mud Play : Getting hands-on with messy play and exploring fun textures in our mud setups.

​"Bear Hunt Adventure Challenge" (PE) 🏃‍♂️🌲: A full-body obstacle course featuring sack jumping, stepping stones, balance beams, zig-zagging, and tunnel crawling!

We can’t go over it, we can’t go under it... we had to go through it! 🤩 Our brave little explorers at PeiKen, Puchong have officially kicked off their epic 4-Day Bear Hunt Holiday Programme! 🌲🌊

We’ve had an incredible first two days filled with hands-on learning, creative arts, and exciting sensory adventures! From crafting custom binoculars and bear painting craft, to crawling through tunnels, mastering balance tracks, sequencing story scenes, and building amazing 3D adventure maps—our children are proving to be the ultimate explorers! 🎨👣🗺️
