A place for people who are enthusiastic in music. One does not need to be a sessionist, or a veteran performer to enjoy and learn music.
The idea behind the Next Octave Music (NOM) Centre is to create an open, friendly platform for budding musicians and/or music lovers who wish to learn more about music. With this in mind, we set out to share our passion, the joys which we find in the music that we play. Whether you've had years of involvement with music, or a beginner just learning the notes, we welcome you to the NOM Centre.

This dedicated student of mine - Olivia Lim, she has shown tremendous improvement in just a short 22 months lesson with me. Her dedication and persistency brought her to her achievement today. I am really proud of her. Now it’s time to move on to the next level with challenges.
A student said that recording is really hard, so I promised to do one for him. You know who you are, everything is possible and doable, so no more excuses ya 😉

Congratulations to both our Grade 6 students who submitted their piano exam separately in December 2024 and also January 2025! They worked really hard for it and both of them got Merit! 🎉🎊

Absolutely well said. I think everyone should learn music, and you do not need to be a master of it but at least learning one kind of instrument is good enough.

🎉In conjunction with this Chinese New Year for the year of Dragon, we are pleased to have our students to perform at Pavilion Bukit Jalil on Li Chun Day (立春) 🐉
For the students that performed, we would like to give a round of applause to all of you, for being brave to step onto the public stage. All of you have shown your dedication and commitment to make this performance a success 🎶 You all are so GREAT!!
We also felt so blessed to have parents that are so supportive and encouraging, your trust and beliefs have strengthened the confidence in your children ❤️
Finally, we would like to express our whole heartedly gratitude to Pavilion Bukit Jalil for sponsoring such an incredible stage for the performance and also to Kayserburg Gallery Malaysia for sponsoring the Pearl River GP150 Ebony Baby Grand Piano that produced a more beautiful and personal touch that draws the audiences into our musical performance 🎹 🎊 With all your support, this musical performance had went on smooth and well 🎶
