The coaching cycle generally consists of four components: goal setting, planning, observation, and reflection. Each step is done collaboratively between the teacher and the coach. To further understand what instructional coaching looks like, let's look at some different examples of coaching in action.

Constellations are useful because they help stargazers and astronomers recognise specific stars in the night sky. Today, constellations are less important than they were in Ancient History. In Ancient times, constellations were used to create and track the calendar so they knew when to plant crops and harvest them.

In everyday life we use a telescope or a pair of binoculars when we want to see greater detail on a distant object. The size of the telescope determines how much detail we can see and the brightness of the image. Astronomical telescopes perform these two tasks.

There are tons of benefits to sharing food or a meal with people. It builds trust among people sharing the same food. You can achieve decisions and consensus more quickly, you're more likely to respect each other, and it's easier to work together.
