As world travel and social media gets people sharing their thoughts and lives moment-by-moment a broad range of global friends, there’s many opportunities. Certainly, there’s opportunities for creating better understanding. But there’s also the risk, as never before, of creating intercultural misunderstanding and offense. So, if we hope to communicate our message clearly we must resist the urge to withdraw and instead engage.
