Attention to all, Malam Deepam 2017/2018 committee would like to apologize regarding these two issues.
1. Our rules and regulations were not clear and specific enough which may have caused some issues. There was a miscommunication when conveying the rules & regulations to certain teams. This may have affected some of the team's performance. However, the judges were not at fault as they have fairly judged all the teams based on their performance.
2. Secondly, there was usage of certain props which may have affected the performance of other teams. Certain props that were used have made the stage slippery. This is mainly our fault as we did not specifically point that out in our rules.
Due to some confusions in the rules and regulations, we truly regret and apologize for causing any inconvenience to some of the teams. We will make sure that this would not be repeated. We will also make sure that no problems would arise in the future.
P/s: The jury's decision is final.
