Last week (Feb 10-11, 2026), Human Resources Minister Ramanan Ramakrishnan Official Media made it official: Under the new Occupational Safety and Health Guide for Flexible Work Arrangement 2026, employers are now legally responsible for the mental well-being of remote staff.

You are now required to assess:
โœ… Ergonomic Safety: (Even if theyโ€™re working from a kitchen chair).
โœ… Psychosocial Risks: (Isolation, digital burnout, and blurred work-life boundaries).
