The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) today launch the roadmap F:30.

For futsal, FAM plans:
1. To have the national futsal team be on of the Top 20 teams in the world by 2026
2. To dominate AFF Futsal by 2020
3. To launch Liga Futsal Pro in 2019 and eventually have the winner join the 2020 AFC Futsal Club Championships
4. To have more participations from the youth
5. State Leagues in 2019
6. LFK U19 in 2020
7. U15 and U17 tournaments with support from Ministry of Education in 2021�

Malaysia berada di Kumpulan B bersama Vietnam, Chinese Taipei dan Bangladesh.

KEPUTUSAN UNDIAN KEJUARAAN FUTSAL WANITA AFC 2018

Skuad futsal wanita kebangsaan kendalian Addie Azwan Zainal telah diundi dalam Kumpulan B bersama Vietnam, Chinese Taipei dan Bangladesh pada majlis undian di AFC House, Bukit Jalil, hari ini.

Kejohanan tersebut akan berlangsung di Bangkok, Thailand dari 2 hingga 12 Mei 2018 dengan disertai 15 pasukan yang dibahagikan kepada empat kumpulan.

Pada edisi sulung 2015 di Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia menduduki tempat keempat selepas tewas kepada Jepun pada separuh akhir dan Thailand pada penentuan tempat ketiga/keempat.

RESULT OF THE 2018 AFC WOMEN’S FUTSAL CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW

The national women’s futsal squad, led by Addie Azwan Zainal has been drawn into Group B alongside Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and Bangladesh during the draw ceremony at the AFC House, Bukit Jalil today.

The tournament will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from the 2nd to 12th May 2018 with 15 participating countries divided into four groups.

The inaugural edition of the tournament, held in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan back in 2015 saw Malaysia finish fourth after suffering defeat at the hands of Japan in the semi-final while also losing the third/fourth placing match to Thailand.

Stage set for 2018 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship Official Draw Kuala Lumpur: Fifteen teams will learn their 2018 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship opponents at the official draw which takes place in AFC House at 1500 (GMT +8) on Monday, March 5.

Sumber mengatakan bahawa selepas tamat Euro Futsal 2018 di Slovenia, FIFA telah bersetuju untuk pertukaran berikut kepada Laws of The Game bagi futsal. Undang-undang baru ini hanya akan menjadi wajib selepas April 2018. Di antara perubahan adalah:

1. Pemain boleh memilih samada untuk tendang or baling daripada kick in (throw in) atau corner kick apabila bola telah keluar. pada awal sukan ini bermula pemain masih baling masuk atau throw in, kami tidak pasti jika ini termasuk untuk corner kick)

2. Goalkeeper tidak boleh baling terus ke pemain berada di posisi paling hadapan berdekatan gol lawan, tetapi harus baling ke pemain terdekatnya dahulu. secara amnya goalkeeper hanya boleh baling bola ke pemain sendiri di dalam half sendiri dahulu dan tidak terus ke pemain sendiri di kawasan half lawan (tidak boleh throw terus ke pemain attacking paling atas dekat dengan goal lawan, maknanya dah takde counter attack laju)

3. Flying Goalkeeper atau power play hanya boleh digunakan oleh pasukan yang ketinggalan (losing team atau a goal behind)

4. penalti ditambah dari 3 ke 5 bagi perlawanan yang seri yang perlukan penentuan.
