Sounds familiar? Muso Academy is here to change your perception and share with you tips on how to master the technique of hitting the right notes! πΆ
For those of you who are interested in active participation during the masterclass, itβs your last chance to book before 12 December with a submission of video recording of your own choice of piece to be reviewed by Muso teachers. You will then be notified via e mail if you have been selected to play a piece during the masterclass.
Whereas, for those who want to sit in as an observer (passive participant), you will still be able to purchase entrance tickets until all tickets are sold out!
If you have any further questions, feel free to WhatsApp Joyce @ 012-5710081. Please bear with me for slow reply as I might be working during that time.

Yesterday's 2nd session of Spring Recital with our school students. Thank you for the support from all parents and teachers in nourishing the children's musical development. Music is a gift and special talent that can be cherished for a very long time.

It was a Full House concert at Pianissimo yesterday. A great balance of programme works from Beginner up to Diploma level. We're really proud of these students who have been working so hard to play their very best. Some of the students amazed me with their huge progress since our last concert held just 4 months ago. Our aim of the school is to connect people through music and giving them an opportunity to perform.

Do you know birds love singing? A study showed that some birds have large repertoires. The Brown Thrasher for example can sing up to 2000 distinct songs whereas some other birds are excellent vocal mimics.
Birds sing throughout the day but during the day chorus their songs are often louder, livelier and more frequent. But why choose the hours around sunrise after 4am to sing? Haha! There's a few theories to this.
1. Light levels are more dim. Birds can do more social interacting and it's a great opportunity to sing!
(Now, I find this theory funny!)
2. It's about bird's pride. Singing loud first thing in the morning tells everyone within hearing distance that you were strong and healthy to survive last night. Hmm, this is very attractive to potential mates and it's a strategy to tell competitors to better stay away.

Back to technique and the natural hand position. That's the secret of every fine pianist.
