Today, Ms. Shirley received a surprise visit from her former student, Theenesh, who came all the way to the tuition centre just to see her.
What touched Ms. Shirley the most was what he said:

And then he said something that truly melted her heart:
โ๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐ท๐ด, ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐
๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐

For a teacher, hearing something like this means more than words can explain.
We still remember Theenesh during his time in class. He was always focused, attentive and determined. Whenever he was given a challenging question, he would try his very best to solve it on his own first before turning to Ms. Shirley for help.
He was also such a pleasant, humble and polite studentโฆ the kind of student a teacher remembers even years later.
Today, seeing him walk back into the tuition centre as a former student was a beautiful reminder that sometimes, teachers may not realise just how much of an impact they have made on their students' lives.
The lessons may have been about Mathsโฆ
but the memories last far beyond the classroom. โค๏ธ
