As the school year comes to a close, we look back with grateful hearts on a wonderful year at Littlebell Kindergarten—filled with laughter, learning, tiny milestones, and big smiles. We are so proud of how much our children have grown, not just in skills and knowledge, but in confidence, kindness, and curiosity. Thank you to our amazing teachers, supportive parents, and our little stars for making this year so meaningful. Dear parents, teachers, children, and friends,

The “Imagine” video was created with great care for this year’s concert. We did not expect it to resonate so deeply or stir such strong emotions among so many of you.

Allow us to share the story behind it.

“Imagine” was created to encourage our children—and us as parents—to think beyond what seems possible. The world is changing rapidly. Advances in AI, blockchain, and powerful GPUs are transforming the way we live and work. In the long run, these technologies will bring new opportunities. But in the short to medium term, many of us will face challenges: job transitions, re-learning, shifting roles, and adapting to new expectations. I speak from experience as a software engineer.

What matters most is how we prepare ourselves and our children. We should not fear change, no matter how difficult it may seem. This is where courage and humility matter. Courage to face what is new and uncertain, and humility to adapt, learn, and grow through it.

At the same time, we must guide our children wisely as they grow in a digital age. Simple steps, such as setting up parental controls or family-linked accounts, can help protect them from harmful influences. As they begin to understand right and wrong, we gradually allow them independence. Along the way, let us nurture their strengths and acknowledge their weaknesses with patience. Harsh discipline can discourage them; a balanced approach works better. Meet them where their interests are—if your child loves playing Clash Royale, try playing with them for a few minutes, and use that shared moment to connect before guiding them to more meaningful discussions.

“Imagine” offers a glimpse of a future we hope our children will inherit—a future of possibility, creativity, and purpose. But the journey to that future will not be easy. Helping our children believe in themselves and find the confidence to face challenges will be one of the most important responsibilities we carry.

Yet when we see our little ones smiling, learning, stumbling, and growing with us, every effort becomes meaningful. That is love.

Thank you for embracing “Imagine,” just as we cherished bringing it to life.

Today we had a very memorable Concert and Graduation event at Rehda Institute. The children and teachers prepared long and hard for this, but seeing the satisfaction and joy all around is indeed very humbling 🥰.

Dear children, parents, teachers, and friends,

Today, we gather with heavy hearts to remember Yap Shing Xuen — a beautiful soul whose light was taken far too soon. Every child is a universe of potential — each one different, each one precious. The loss of Shing Xuen reminds us how fragile that universe can be, and how sacred our duty is to nurture, protect, and celebrate every child.

Some children see the world in brighter colors, feel emotions more deeply, or express themselves in ways that others may not immediately understand. It is therefore imperative that we seek early therapy and intervention for children who may be on the autism or ADHD spectrum. Parents and guardians, please heed your teachers’ advice if professional help is recommended — treatment is often most effective when children are young. We must listen more, learn more, and love more — because awareness alone is not enough. It must grow into action, patience, and empathy.

Yap Shing Xuen’s tragedy calls on us to open our eyes wider — to build safer, kinder spaces where no child feels unseen, unheard, or misunderstood. Let us renew our promise: to be vigilant, to advocate, and to teach our children to include, not exclude; to love, not label.

To Shing Xuen’s family — our hearts are with you. May you find comfort in knowing that your child’s story will inspire many to care more deeply and understand more fully. May her memory become a spark for awareness, compassion, and protection for every child who needs it.

Rest peacefully, dear Shing Xuen. Your light will continue to shine in every classroom that chooses empathy over judgment, understanding over silence, and kindness over fear.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and responsible Kindergarten Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will support classroom teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, guiding students in their learning and play, preparing materials, and ensuring the well-being of all children under supervision.

A passion for early childhood education, patience, and strong communication skills are essential. Prior experience working with young children or a background in early childhood education will be an advantage.
