Messy hands are usually a sign that something good is happening.

When they are pressing paint into paper or smearing colour across the page they are not thinking about what they are learning. They are just in it. Completely. And that is exactly when the best stuff happens.

We put the paint out every week and honestly we never get tired of watching them. The way they just dive in without overthinking it. The way they surprise themselves.

It is not that they are ignoring you. At this age, little ones genuinely struggle to process instructions the way we expect them to. Their brain is still figuring it all out.

The good news is that small changes in how we speak make a really big difference. Not big parenting overhauls. Just small shifts that actually land.

We swapped the classroom for a farm last month and honestly, nothing could have prepared us for how magical it was.

Our little ones visited Farm Fresh @ UPM in Serdang. They saw real cows up close, fed the animals, explored the farm and experienced something most of them had only ever seen in books.

The looks on their faces when they heard the animals. The way they reached out to touch, to point, to ask a hundred questions at once. That kind of wonder, you simply cannot plan for it.

This is why we do field trips. Not just to go somewhere new, but to show our children that the world is so much bigger and more beautiful than four walls can ever hold.

Last Saturday was everything we hoped it would be and more.

To every family who came through our doors — thank you! Seeing your little ones run around, playing with the animals and get creative at the art and craft station while you explored the school with us, that is exactly the kind of morning we had in mind. It was so wonderful to finally meet so many of you in person. The questions you asked, the conversations we had, it reminded us exactly why we do and what we do.

A big thank you to Welo Chiro and Happy Fish Swim School for being part of the day and to every mum who came, we hope you loved your little gift.
