Last week, our Year 1 and Year 2 students proudly showcased their learning journeys during the IPC Exit Point Closing Ceremony, celebrating the themes of ‘Treasure Island’ and ‘From A to B’ respectively.
Dressed for the occasion, our Year 1 adventurers delighted everyone with their adorable pirate hats, while our Year 2 students arrived in creative transportation-themed attire. Throughout the event, students confidently shared their learning through songs, experiment demonstrations, presentations, and performances, bringing their discoveries and experiences to life.
The celebration concluded with engaging parent-and-child collaborative activities, allowing families to take part in the learning process and reinforce key concepts together. Filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and plenty of smiles, the event was a wonderful reflection of our students’ growth, confidence, and achievements throughout their IPC learning journey. 🏝️🏴☠️🌊🚗🚘✈️🚀

Heritage International School was pleased to welcome former Deputy Minister of International Trade & Industry, Dr. Ong Kian Ming, for an engaging and thought-provoking session with our students on the topic, “Is It More Important to Ask the Right Questions or to Find the Right Answers?”
Through insightful discussions and real-world examples, Dr. Ong challenged students to think critically, stay curious, and understand that meaningful learning often begins with asking thoughtful questions. Students were encouraged to look beyond memorising answers and instead develop the confidence to analyse issues, explore different perspectives, and seek deeper understanding for their future.
Dr. Ong also shared valuable insights from his experiences in government and policymaking, inspiring students to become informed, reflective and responsible future leaders.
We sincerely thank Dr. Ong for visiting Heritage, and for the alluring perspectives shared.

Last Friday, Heritage Primary came alive in celebration of World Book Day, a special occasion dedicated to honouring the authors who have inspired generations and to celebrating our shared love for stories and the unforgettable characters within them. 📚
Students and teachers arrived dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing pages to life with appearances from the iconic Snow White 🍎, the curious Alice from Alice in Wonderland 🕰️, and the ever-popular wizard Harry Potter ⚡️ among many others.
The morning was filled with energy and laughter as students took part in lively skit performances. In a creative twist, some students narrated their stories while their classmates acted them out on stage, creating a delightful blend of storytelling and drama that kept everyone thoroughly entertained.
The celebrations concluded with a tour of the Year 6 booths, where students presented on a wide range of book genres. Through interactive displays and engaging explanations, they introduced younger learners to different types of literature, sparking curiosity and encouraging them to explore new stories, ideas and worlds beyond their usual reading choices.
Indeed, it was a joyful and meaningful celebration that reminded us all of the magic found within the pages of a good book 📖!
