And that’s a wrap on HR National Conference & Convention 2026! 🎉

What an incredible few days of conversations, connections and ideas around the future of work.

At the Edu Action booth, we asked HR professionals and business leaders a simple question:

“What is ONE human skill we will need MORE of in 2026 and beyond?”

Our foamboard quickly filled with sticky notes sharing what people believe will matter even more in the future — trust, empathy, teamwork, communication, creativity, leadership and human connection. 💭

And perhaps that’s the biggest takeaway.

Technology will continue to transform how we work.

But technology alone doesn't build trust.
It doesn't create a sense of belonging.
It doesn't resolve team conflict.
And it doesn't bring people together around a shared purpose.

The future isn't People vs Technology.

It's People + Technology.

🚨 HRD Corp has revised its Training Grant requirements — is your organisation ready?

Starting 15 June 2026, employers will need to plan their training programmes much earlier to ensure compliance with the latest HRD Corp guidelines.

Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Training grants must be approved at least 14 days before training begins.
❌ No more grant modifications after approval.
❌ No more appeals.
⏰ Only one query is allowed, and it must be responded to within 5 calendar days.
📅 Training must commence between 14 and 90 days from the grant approval date.

These changes mean one thing: early planning is now more important than ever.
