We are honoured to join the World Dengue Day Celebration organised by UMMC, officiated by YBrs Prof Dr Nazirah Hasnan, Director of UMMC.

Dont forget to do these 4 simple steps to protect youself & your loved ones from dengue & its severe complications:

1) Destroy Aedes breeding grounds
2) Prevent mosquito bites
3) Get vaccinated
4) Seek immediate treatment when experiencing dengue symptoms

Dec 2024 to Feb 2025 - Let’s Protect Dengue & Vaccination (LPDV) Workshop Series

We successfully conducted 3 series of LPDV workshop that aims to inform relevant healthcare professionals (HCPs) of the available dengue vaccine in Malaysia.

A total of 248 participants attended the sessions in person across 6 locations: Sabah, Selangor, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Pulau Pinang.

We hope the workshop has helped empower HCPs to better protect our nation from severe dengue and dengue deaths, including through vaccination.

Dec 2024 - DPAM Dengue Vaccine Position Paper

Dengue vaccine is now available in private clinics & hospitals.

To help healthcare professionals (HCPs) incorporate this vaccine effectively into their practice, we have developed the DPAM Dengue Vaccine Position Paper (DVPP) to guide HCPs in making decisions regarding dengue vaccination.

Oct 2024 - Meeting with Selangor Public Health & Environment Exco

SELPHAC-DPAM presented the dengue prevention strategies to YB Puan Jamaliah Jamaluddin, Selangor Public Health & Environment Exco.

During the discussion, we also proposed additional initiatives to strengthen dengue management and control for better outcomes.
