MASTER ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION IN 7 SESSIONS
Hi! My name is Eddie Dan and I help non-native speakers around the world achieve native-like pronunciation and thus speak English naturally, in a neutral accent.
As a practising lawyer, I appreciate that while having a rich vocabulary and a good knowledge of grammar rules is essential for effective communication, being able to properly pronounce words and understand other speakers can contribute a lot to leaving a good first impression.
As a pronunciation coach, I believe that non-native speakers of English of any age who have experienced the frustration of being misunderstood and/or being unable to understand native speakers can benefit from specialist coaching to help them move forward.
The problem lies in the fact that pronunciation is one area of teaching that is often neglected, as many aspects of pronunciation, especially connected speech, are difficult to teach (or at least that is the perception).
The neglect in this area is evident even among many highly educated professionals who have received many years of English education and hence have good grammar and an extensive vocabulary, but are unable to communicate with native speakers simply because they have not acquired connected speech awareness.
This prompted me to create a program that would focus 100% on teaching proper pronunciation, connected speech, stress, rhythm and intonation, and move the learnerβs English speaking to the next level, in just 7 sessions! I call it EDWAY ENGLISH : PRONUNCIATION MASTERCLASS.
I use my experience as a professional voice/tvc actor and emcee and my early career training in news presenting to deliver engaging training courses to help my students develop their communication skills in English and thus be more efficient and effective in their studies and/or jobs.
Best known for my rapid-learning techniques, my students are from all walks of life and of all ages - aristocrats and government officials, entrepreneurs and socialites, professionals and blue-collar workers, students and retirees.
