He graduated from University Malaya in 1987 with a Bachelor in Science of Mathematics single major degree. This class runs at the students personal residence.

About the teacher :-
Mr Thavesvaran Govindasamy is a certified mathematician. Having initially started his career as a banker,he finally decided to start tuition in mathematics for secondary school students in 2004. Over the course of his career,he has managed to deliver a proper understanding of mathematics

to many students who have scored exceptional results in their SPM and PMR examinations. Mr Thaves has a full schedule currently,but will be opening up to new students starting from (........../2011). He accepts students on a first come first serve basis. About the Class :-

As mentioned in the previous section,the tuition lessons were started in 2004. Having provided tuition for PMR and SPM students since,he recently decided to specialize in SPM sylabus only.As of the year 2011,he began group sessions at his personal residence. The recruits for the year 2012 will be for tuition at his residence ONLY,and 1 to 1 sessions by special request upon discussion with the teacher. The class commences at the specified times at his personal residence in USJ Court 10. As of the year 2012,he will only run Add Maths classes for Form 4 and Form 5 students. The maximum number of students he allows is 11 people per session,with an allowance of 2 more if necessary. Starting in 2012,there will be daily sessions in the afternoon,and at night(to be edited). The classes are 1 and a half hours long,from 2.30pm to 4pm for afternoon class,and 8.30pm to 10pm for night class. Students testimonials :-

The current schedule for home classes are as follows. Thursday night- Add Maths(Form 5)
Saturday night - Mod maths(form 5)
Monday night - Add Maths(Form 4)

These are the group classes going on in the year 2011. Mr Thaves is also occupied with 1 to 1 sessions with students.
