🦋 Caterpillar Craft & Life Cycle Learning 🐛
Today our children created caterpillar models using recycled egg cartons and also play doh as part of our exploration of the butterfly life cycle. We also observed a real caterpillar>chrysalis, helping children understand the stages of change from caterpillar to butterfly.
Learning Outcomes:
• Understanding the butterfly life cycle
• Developing fine motor skills
• Building vocabulary (caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly)
• Encouraging sustainable thinking by using recycled materials
• Strengthening observation and inquiry skills
A wonderful hands-on session connecting creativity with real-world science. 🌱🦋

📚 Healthy Food Pyramid 🍎🥦
This week, our preschool learners engaged in an educational activity focused on understanding the Healthy Food Pyramid. Through guided discussions, visual aids, and hands-on sorting tasks, children developed foundational knowledge about healthy eating.
Learning Outcomes Achieved:
▪️ Identified major food groups in the Healthy Food Pyramid
▪️ Recognised foods that support growth, energy, and wellbeing
▪️ Distinguished between “everyday foods” and “sometimes foods”
▪️ Practiced making simple healthy choices during group activities
▪️ Built vocabulary related to nutrition and healthy habits
This learning experience supports children’s development in health and physical wellbeing, cognitive understanding, and language growth. We look forward to continuing to promote positive lifelong eating habits. 🌱

Our classrooms turned into Halloween wonderlands as children got creative with witch crafts, bat crafts, and ghost crafts! 🦇🎨

This spooky celebration wasn’t just about fun — it was also about learning and awareness. 💡
Students explored the meaning and traditions of Halloween, discovering how people around the world celebrate it with costumes, decorations, and the famous “Trick or Treat” tradition! 🍬

Through art and storytelling, our little ones learned about creativity, teamwork, and cultural understanding — all while enjoying a day full of laughter and imagination! 🎉
