🦋 THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT
Sometimes, the biggest changes begin with the smallest steps. One decision to speak up.
That was the spirit of our Friendship Toastmasters Club meeting on 18 August, themed “The Butterfly Effect.”
🎤 Jack Chuah brought us through his journey of developing his communication skills, reminding us that every opportunity to speak is another opportunity to grow.
📋 Samuel shared about developing a communications plan, highlighting how purposeful communication can help turn ideas into meaningful action.
❤️ Lay Theng brought us into a deeply meaningful topic “From DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) to ACP (Advance Care Planning)”, raising awareness about the importance of having conversations and making informed decisions about our future care.
Beyond the speeches, we also had active participation, wonderful guests, and a great line-up of evaluators who contributed thoughtful feedback and encouragement throughout the evening.
Growth doesn't always happen in giant leaps. Sometimes, it begins with something as small as: “Yes, I'll give it a try.”
And that little YES might just create a ripple that reaches much further than we ever imagined.
