This has always been our vision: Preparing our students for adulthood and allow them to participate more meaningfully in the community.

From classroom role-play to real-life practice are what we aim to continuously develop for our Vocational students at BC Academy. In reality, learning a skill and entering the working community should not be the only focus for students with challenges. It is equally important for students to learn how to function independently in society, such as shopping, ordering food, communicating with others, and practising safety awareness outside the home and classroom.

It is always a pleasure to share kindness and bring smiles to others during the festive season.

BC Academy recently held a charity baking project for Madrasah Darul Falal, an orphanage located in Kuala Terengganu in celebration of Hari Raya. It was truly a meaningful event, as every one of our students and teachers participated wholeheartedly — from baking to cleaning, packing, and labelling. This initiative allowed our students to experience the joy of working together while learning the importance of giving back to the community.

We would like to extend our special thanks to all parents who generously contributed and supported this initiative, making it possible for us to prepare a wonderful number of gift packets for the children.

In the spirit of welcoming Hari Raya, we assisted BC's Vocational students in making a small but meaningful gesture by baking two of Raya's favourite goodies. It was a trial-and-error process as it was their first time baking for all BC parents!

BC Lunar New Year Celebration

Nothing beats a day of fun filled with interaction, games, activities and yummy food. Students at BC wishes everyone a prosperous Year of the Horse!

Special thanks to our F&B Vocational students for preparing trays of fresh and crispy 'yee sang' all by themselves - from shredding to plating, this is their first project to kick start 2026!

Our Vocational students started their Functional practice this week by visiting eatery places (Restoran O&G Petaling Jaya and Banana Bistro) and shopping for stationery supplies. From looking for the specific items to ordering, paying in cash, and practicing road safety, this is just the beginning of their Functional training.

We are grateful to welcome paediatric dentistry specialists and students from Universiti Teknologi MARA to BC Academy for a meaningful collaboration focused on dental care. The free dental education and basic check-ups were provided, helping our students understand the importance of oral health in a friendly, supportive environment. We look forward to more collaborations that make a real difference in the lives of our students.

It was a relaxed get-together last Friday for parents of kids with special needs to connect, swap stories, and learn more about early childhood intervention, and pick up helpful tips from each other.
