Introducing the second council that we have on offer - the Group of 20 council! 🌎
As the 17th iteration of the Summit is underway in Bali, Indonesia, SUNMUN 2022 this year would offer an experience for delegates to simulate the workings of the Summit as it happens in parallel to the conference! 🇮🇩
Participants would assume the role of the head of government, rather than the traditional diplomat as assumed in conventional MUN councils, and deliberate on the agendas of the council, which are also part of the key themes of the G20 Summit in Bali - Global Health Architecture 🏥🌎 and Digital Transformation. 💻🤝
While it deviates from the conventional MUN format, rest assured that the council is made to be begineer friendly from the start, with the additional perk that participations would be roleplaying directly as Presidents or Prime Ministers of a country than a delegate. 🧑⚖️

Delegates will be discussing in two agendas which are:
Agenda A: Protecting and Promoting the Rights of Older Persons
Agenda B: Countering the Use of ICT for Criminal Purposes
Now this council is beginner friendly, so if you’re a newbie, come down and join this council! 🌟
Introducing the first council! United Nations 77th General Assembly (UNGA)✍️
In this council, delegates would be deliberating on two topics that are selected out of the actual UN General Assembly program this year! 🇺🇳
Delegates would be expected to find key policy solutions to advance the rights of older persons 👴 and also to mitigate the use of technology for criminal activities. 🧑💻🥷
Now this council is of course, beginner friendly! So if you’re new to MUN, or want to see what it’s like to be representing a country in the UN, come join this council! 🌟

Soo, if you've got any feedback or comments, you are more than welcome to meet this team! Besides that, you will also be liaising with them as you make payments for delegate registrations.

Greetings to all participants! In light of recent events, we have decided to postpone SUNMUN 2020 to a later date (to be confirmed) but what is confirmed is that the conference will be held towards the end of the year! As such, registration dates will be readjusted and delegates that have registered will be contacted personally. Thank you for your continued support!
