We celebrated Hari Raya πβ¨ at Kidsvilla this month . It was filled with joy, laughter, and festive cheer. The children had a wonderful time learning about the meaning of Hari Raya, exploring traditions, and taking part in our exciting Hari Raya Workshop Project.
The highlight of the celebration was, of course, our delicious Raya spread where everyone enjoyed tasty festive treats and shared special moments together.
It was a beautiful celebration of culture, learning, and togetherness creating sweet memories for our little ones at Kidsvilla!β¨β¨

This is brilliant and long overdue news. As an Educator, I truly welcome this announcement that primary school will now start at age 6.
When we look at established systems like the British education system, children begin formal schooling at age 5. Expecting Malaysian children to wait until 7 no longer reflects the reality of todayβs children. Kids today are far more exposed, cognitively ready, and developmentally capable at a younger age than previous generations.
With the right curriculum, play-based learning, and age-appropriate structure, starting primary school at 6 supports confidence, continuity, and smoother transitions from early years into formal learning. Delaying formal schooling can actually lead to boredom, disengagement, and missed opportunities during a crucial developmental window.
Malaysiaβs children are ready. Our educators are ready.!!
This move aligns us better with global education standards and acknowledges how much early childhood education has evolved.
I fully support this decision. Amazing news for our children and for the future of education in Malaysia. π
