Always keep an isolated, offline cold backup as your last line of defense.

Apple quietly update the plug head adapter for new 140W Type-C charger bundled with MacBook Pro 16-inch M5 Pro or Max. This changes will render old plug head be it the short plug or the extension cable incompatible with the new design. Including the travel adapter kit. This also render inability to use standard black cable easily available everywhere as alternative.

The old design was around since G3 era where first square power brick was introduced.

We expecting this change to carry out on all product line soon.

Today mark the end of Mac Pro line. As Apple quietly remove the product page from their website. You can no longer order one from apple.com. Support will still be on-going for any sold unit until Apple declare them as obsolete model.
