✨ Wrapping up an incredible journey at Make a Difference Enterprise (MADE) 2024! Co-hosted by Taylor's Digital Innovation and Smart Society Impact Lab and Clean Technology Impact Lab, this workshop was a deep dive into AI, Design Thinking, and more. From NLP and Generative AI to product marketing, VR magic, and mindfulness, we covered it all.

The grand finale was the Pitch4Fund competition, where we brought our best ideas to life in a high-energy pitch battle.

🎉 We had an incredibly engaging two-day session with the talented students from Collinz International School! 🌟

On July 12th, Taylor’s University was thrilled to be the first tertiary institution to conduct a tech workshop for Year 9-11 students at Collinz International School (Botanic Garden). Ir Ts Dr Eu Kok Seng played a key role by facilitating the students in controlling the robot dog and sharing insights on empowering them to become future technocrats.

The excitement continued on July 16th where Ir Ts Dr Eu Kok Seng provided an insightful overview of how he trains future robotic engineers to students at Collinz International School (Botanic Garden). The TU Vortex team also offered an immersive experience in the virtual world, further enhancing the students' learning journey.

On July 10th, from 11am-1pm, we had the pleasure of hosting an insightful session on drones at Taylor's University, conducted by Ts Dr Julian Tan Kok Ping. 🚁✨ As the Hub Leader for the Automation & Robotics Hub and a Certified Drone Pilot, Dr. Julian brought valuable expertise to our workshop, covering everything from the history of UAVs to multi-rotor fundamentals, safety protocols, and regulations.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and made the event a success. With meticulously planned demonstrations and a focus on responsible drone usage, we aimed to enhance your knowledge and adherence to best practices in this exciting field.

On 28th of May, we had a fantastic seminar on "Crafting and Mastering Network Topology" featuring Mr. Murali, Group IT Manager at Elabram Sdn Bhd. His 4 years of experience designing network floor plans in Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines brought invaluable insights to our students, who are gearing up to design their network topology using ENSP and Wireshark under Dr. Siti Zainab’s guidance in ITS66304.

On 29th of May, we hosted another insightful session on "Cyber Safety: Understanding the Comprehensive Approach to Cyber Wellness" by Assoc Prof Col(R) Dato’ Ts. Dr. H. Jazri CISSP CCLP, Director of Global Alliance for Cyber Safety and Hub Leader of Cybersecurity Hub, Digital Innovation & Smart Society Impact Lab. This session was conducted for Taylor’s School of Business, invited by Dr. Janitha. It was definitely an eye-opener for everyone involved!
