It’s been ages since I visited IG. It’s quite obvious that I struggle trying to keep up with social media platforms. I’ve been busy on LinkedIn recently since my FB page was hacked a few months back. Anyway as I’ve recently been appointed Exco member of the Voice Guild, I shall endeavour to be more present. Thank you to members and friends of Voice Guild Malaysia for entrusting me again for the 3rd time since the guild was incorporated.

f you’d like a good example of a how to deliver an effective business pitch presentation you can learn a lot from watching this video. Here are the key points:

1. Be clear, be brief and to the point. (He delivered his proposal in less than 2 minutes)
2. You don’t need fancy slides to deliver an effective presentation.
3. Your idea has to solve a problem or a need.
4. Research the competition and even potential competition.
5. Know your stuff! Data, facts and figures.
6. Be prepared and practice until the information just rolls off your tongue.
7. Provide context and issues upfront, highlighting the problems your idea or company could potentially solve.
8. Last but not least, vocal delivery -
Be confident with the right amount of likeability and authority in the subject.
