Q5: How to monitor the progress of my children?

i-Learning provide e Report Card. This card reports all activities undertaken by the children together with the time taken and scores achieved. In this way, parents are able to keep track of the progress of their children.

Q4: Is tuition is still required when using i-Learning?

Tuition is a guided drill and practice by the tuition teacher. In that regards, parents do not required anymore tuition when the children is using i-Learning. However, for monitoring purpose, parents are required to regularly monitor the activities undertaken by the children to ensure that they undertake the activities as scheduled. Students are encouraged to use i-Learning at least 2 hours a day.

Q3: Is the syllabus in i-Learning the same with syllabus at school ?

Yes. The syllabus used in i-Learning is the same syllabus specified by the Ministry of Education. As such, the learning materials and learning activities in i-Learning conform to that used in schools.

Q2: What is output learning?

Output learning consists of two components.
The first component is a learning process with the aim of preparing the students to excel in the examinations.
This is achieved by drill and practice of many examination quality questions.
ICT is used to condition the students and at the same time creating an environment very similar to actual examination setting.
In doing so, students acquired the necessary skills and expertise to answer the questions correctly and subsequently excel in the examination.
The second component of the output learning is the tracking system by parents of activities undertaken by their children.
Such tracking enable parents to monitor the students progress and at the same time ensure that students undertake the activities as scheduled.

Q1: What is input learning ?

Input learning is learning process undertaken by the students with the aims of acquiring the knowledge of a particular topics.
The ICT tools are used to provide engaging learning materials as well as activities to enhance students understanding of the concept.
Students are encouraged to study the learning materials and undertake the activities first before the teacher at schools teach the particular topics.
In this way, students have prior knowledge of the topics and can participate actively in class by asking questions to teachers which lead to deeper understanding of the topics.

COMPREHENSIVE CONTENTS

Complement the Classroom Teaching
All form of education has assessment component to measure the achievement of students. In school, the assessment are in the form of monthly test, mid-semester examination, end of the semester examinations. The most important form of assessment are the UPSR, PT3 and SPM national examinations.

There are two form of learning as far the school based educational system is concerned. These are the school based learning and self-learning. The self-learning is an independent learning undertaken by the students to further enhance their understanding of the subject matter and this normally take place at home.

i-Learning help students to undertake the self-learning and at the time supplement the learning that take place in school.

Help in Students' Self-Learning

Self learning contribute more than 70% of the preparation towards examination. Schools only contribute the remaining 30%. As such, contribution of self-learning is very important and significant for the students to excel in the examinations. The role of i-Learning is thus very important to inculcate the skills for the students in preparing themselves for the examinations. Continuous usage of i-Learning condition the students to the examination environment and ensure their success.

Preparing Students for the Examination
i-Learning is a proven product that had successfully help and prepare thousands and thousands students to excel in the examinations. Steps involve when using i-Learning are as follows (See chart):
i. Before the topics are taught by teachers at school, ensure students study the contents beforehand. Go through the topics thoroughly n the Input Learning system and undertake all the activities (Self-Learning).
ii. At school, pay attention to teachers as the teachers teach the topics. Ask as many questions as possible to enhance understandings (School-based Learning).
iii. At home, undertake all the activities in i-Topic of the output learning to further deepened the understanding of the topics. Allocate at least 2 hours a day to undertake the activities in i-Topic (Self Learning).
iv. As the examination draw nearer, undertake i-Assessment, i-Trial Exam and Past year to undertake the revision and preparation for the examinations.
iv. Repeat the activities until the system provide the scores that indicate students have reached the highest level of competency.
v. Students will sit for the examination with confidence knowing that they are fully prepared by examinations and this ensure the students excel in the examinations.

In the input learning system, students are provided with comprehensive contents. There are plethora of colorful pictures, graphics and illustrations in the contents. These would make learning fun and interesting. The learning materials are designed based on the accepted instructional design principles and learning theories. There are also links that would bring students to other selected Internet resources. In this way, students can learn in greater details and obtained different perspectives of the subject:

The output learning system aims at preparing students with the examinations so that students acquire the necessary skills and strategies to excel in their exams. At the same time, the system provide the monitoring system for the parents so that parents can track all the activities undertaken by the students. The system is proven very effective with thousands and thousands having achieved excellent results in their examinations.

SYLLABUS COMPLIANCE
For Standard 1 - Standard 6, the learning materials and activities prepared are for students in Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina), SKJ(C). For Form 1 - Form 5, the learning materials and activities are for students in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK). All syllabuses are compiled and set forth by Malaysian Ministry of Education.

The system also has the old KBSR and KBSM syllabus as well as the newly implemented KSSR and KSSM syllabus. Students have the opportunity to access learning materials and activities of both syllabuses.

For the teaching of Science and Mathematics, PPSMI as well MBMMBI syllabus are both incorporated in the system.
