Our Alumni and Scholars Connect 2026, held last weekend, was a meaningful opportunity for our alumni to meet and engage with the Community Scholars they have been supporting financially. 😄 The event provided a platform for alumni and scholars to exchange stories, perspectives and aspirations. A highlight of the day was bringing 2 of our alumni donors, Sheila and Victor, to spot their names on the Heart of Giving wall - a tribute to the donors who generously contributed towards our scholars’ educational journeys. 🌱

It was a heartwarming occasion filled with connection, inspiration, mentorship and the spirit of giving. 💙🧡

We were delighted to welcome our Sunway Alumni, Jojo and Timothy, back to campus during Health Week 2026, organised by the Sunway Student Volunteers (SSV). 😁

They returned as representatives of Asia Eye Specialist Centre, offering complimentary eye screenings to our Sunway community. It was a pleasure catching up with them and seeing them give back in such a meaningful way.

Thank you, Timothy and Jojo, for supporting our Sunway community. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus again soon! 💙🧡

Our VU-Sunway alumna, Natalie Loi (Head of Technology at UnBound Malaysia & Australia), returned to campus as a guest speaker for TEDxSunwayUniversity, 'Unseen Frequencies: Beyond the Visible'. The theme explored what lies beneath the surface, bringing together speakers who uncovered the unseen forces that shape our world and challenge the way we think.

Natalie shared her reflections on Southeast Asia's growth, potential and future. She invited the audience to reflect on the narratives we inherit about the region, the stories we choose to shape for ourselves, and how we measure the success of a society.

A heartfelt thank you to Natalie for sharing her insights and inspiring our Sunway community. 💙🧡

We recently had the pleasure of bringing together our VU-Sunway alumni, Alvyn, Jun Yin, Lee Yan, Natasha, Shin Jing, and Xiaoqian for a sharing and brainstorming session.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas and hear their honest feedback and experiences. Their thoughtful insights and suggestions will help shape meaningful initiatives and experiences for our alumni community.

A big thank you to our alumni for taking the time to share their ideas and contribute to the discussion. We look forward to sharing more about the initiative we are working on! 🤩

Our VU–Sunway alumni, Ryan, Mun Foong and Adam, returned to campus as panellists for an alumni sharing session at the VU High Tea, held in conjunction with the official launch of the One Block Study Scholarship Programme at Victoria University Melbourne. They reflected on their academic journeys, personal growth, and the experiences that shaped their careers, offering valuable perspectives to prospective students and parents. 🙌
