We had a great time reconnecting with our Sunway alumnus, Raymond Ha, who completed his computing studies with us. 🤩 With 22 years of experience, he is an IT specialist currently serving at Bank Negara Malaysia. Throughout his career, he has gained experience across various sectors, including insurance and banking, energy, telecommunications, oil and gas, mining, and manufacturing. 👏

During his visit, we took Raymond on a tour of our main campus and Sunway University @ Sunway Square, showcasing the latest developments and highlighting how much the campus has grown over the years. He had an amazing memory and could point out all the locations from the past - from his classrooms to his dorm room! 😆 It was a fun journey down memory lane :)

It was a full-circle moment to welcome Sunway Alumni, Jeff Chua and Rachel Tan, back on campus as panellists for Impact Unplugged, held as part of Social Enterprise Engagement Day: IMPACT IGNITE26 organised by the Yunus Social Business Centre, Sunway Business School. ☺️✨

Together with other panellists, Rachel (Founder of The Nurts) and Jeff (Co-Founder of opackmy) shared their inspiring journeys of turning ideas into meaningful impact through their purpose-driven businesses. From the challenges and rewarding moments of building their ventures to the future impact they hope to create, their stories offered valuable insights and inspiration.

It was a pleasure reconnecting with our Sunway alumnus Alex Ooi recently! ☺️ A graduate from the former Petaling Jaya campus, he is now serving as the Executive Officer, Audit Oversight Board at Securities Commission Malaysia.

The visit included a tour of Sunway University @ Sunway Square, showcasing the latest developments, including the new trading room, and highlighting how far the Sunway campus has grown. He also had the opportunity to catch up with faculty members from Sunway Business School and Ms. Lee Siok Ping, Chief of Student LIFE and Services. 🙌

We enjoyed gaining valuable insights into Alex's inspiring career journey and look forward to exciting collaborations ahead. 🤩

We were delighted to welcome back alumnus Robbie Lee, 2019/2020 President of the Sunway Global Friends Community, to campus recently. 😄 A 2021 graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies and now the Director of JOINT18, he returned to campus for an inspiring alumni sharing session, “AI Business Builder”, organised by the Sunway Business School. Thank you for giving back to our students and community. We look forward to more exciting collaborations ahead! 🤩🤝
